ZAYN Malik has chosen his One Direction band mates as his ushers.

The heart throb has opened up about his upcoming wedding with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, and he has admitted he can't choose between friends Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

Speaking to Yahoo during 1D Day, he said: "It is going to have to be a bit unconventional - it's just not fair to pick one."

His band mates also weighed in on music for the eventual ceremony, with Liam saying Simon Cowell and Ed Sheeran will perform at the nuptials.

He joked: "Simon is going to do a little solo song and we should have Ed there too."

However, Zayn wasn't entirely convinced, admitting Perry would prefer to have Journey front man Neal Schon on hand.

He added: "My missus wants the lead singer from Journey there."

While Zay is preparing for his wedding day, fellow 'Story of My Life' hitmaker Niall is said to be getting close to 'X Factor' UK contestant Tamera Foster.

According to reports in the Sunday Mirror, the pair have shown "instant chemistry", and she has admitted to getting on well with the star.

She said: "Yes, Niall and I have been talking in private ... I spent most of my time with Niall. He's really fun."
