Young drama hits lismore

Hoods, which hits the Dance Studio stage at Lismore City Hall tonight (Thursday, October 1), is an exciting, stylised piece of drama directed by local girl Bridget Balodis. It stars another local, Elizabeth Haslam.

Hoods has been purpose-built for high schools and has been playing at various schools in the area over the last week, but this contemporary version of the Hansel and Gretel tale, which explores family, violence and poverty, is so good, promoters think the general public should be able to see it.

So Hoods is open for public enjoyment tonight from 6.30pm.

$10 gets you in.
