AFTER a successful inaugural Dunoon Film Society screening in August, there'll be a screening of Martin Scorsese's Hugo at the Dunoon Hall this Saturday, October 13.
Set in Paris in the 1930s, Hugo is the story of an orphan boy living in a train station, an adventurous girl, some mind-boggling gadgets, and the early days of cinema. It's a film that appeals to both adults and kids.
Membership to the Dunoon Film Society is $5 for the year. (Yes, affordable.)
Entry to films is $10 for members. Kids under 16 are free. Doors open at 6.30pm with Modanville School providing food.
Hugo screens at 7.30pm. BYO drinks.
