Emmy award winning singer Toni Childs to host yoga workshops
IT'S NOT everyday you get the chance to do yoga with Toni Childs.
But from 9.30am-11am on August 18, Rockhampton residents have the opportunity to do just that.
For just $25, yoga enthusiasts can roll out their mats and test their flexibility alongside the internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter and yoga teacher when she brings her yin-inspired yoga and medication class to The Workshop Rockhampton through local program Body 'n' Soul Yoga Rockhampton.
To top it all off, Ms Childs will also treat attendees to live performances from her new album 'It's all a Beautiful Noise' and Emmy award winning song 'Because You're Beautiful' from her 2008 album release 'Keep the Faith'.
The unique yoga experience is described by organisers as a celebration of life, combining movement, yoga, meditation and the ultimate sound bath of live singing from Ms Childs bringing attendees into alignment with the beauty of who they are.
"This yoga class is an experience unlike any other," an event spokesperson said.
"Toni combines dance, yoga, meditation, and sound healing in a 90-minute class that will transport and transform your day, maybe even your life, as you bathe in her Emmy award winning soulful lyrics.

Ms Childs said the event was the ultimate experience for every yoga lover.
