Wow factor helps raise $4000

The Rotary Club of Summerland Sunrise raised $4000 recently at their fourth annual pink and blue breakfast.

Club secretary Gae Ferris said they decided to support prostate cancer research as well as breast cancer research this year and encouraged more men to come along.

Cabaret singer Rhonda Burchmore, who used to wow them on shows like The Mike Walsh Show and Hey Hey It’s Saturday, performed All That Jazz and Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend in front of about 270 people at the Lismore Workers Club.
