Workers rescue mower stolen by croc

A WORKER at a reptile park in Sydney has staged a daring rescue of a lawnmower that had been dragged into a lagoon by a huge crocodile.

Tim Faulkner dived into the water while Elvis the ''monster croc'' was distracted with some kangaroo meat.

"I didn't mind jumping in the water, once the croc has fixed on a bit of food," he said.

A rescue mission was mounted a few hours later to retrieve the mower, which Elvis had dragged underwater.

"Billy distracted him with 'roo meat and I just dove in and grabbed the mower," Mr Faulkner said.
