Win a trip to Western Plains Zoo!

If you’ve never seen a baby zebra before, or an adult zebra for that matter, this is your chance, with The Echo offering readers the opportunity to win a family pass to Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.

This spring resident zebras Kioni and Tano gave birth to this little bundle of cuteness named Zahra, which means flower in Swahilii.

The zoo also recently welcomed a new bison calf and keepers are extremely excited about the arrival of Amala, a greater one-horned rhino who endured a 36-hour plane flight from the USA to get to her new home. Amala has joined the zoo’s male rhino Dora in the hope that they will produce Australia’s first-ever greater one-horned rhino calf.

Western Plains Zoo is a fantastic school holiday destination where you can see rhinos, giraffes, big cats, African and Asian elephants, buffalo, otters, and so much more.

The family pass on offer is worth more than $100 and is valid until July 2010. To go in the draw to win phone 6622 2888 next Monday, December 14 between 10 and 10.15am and tell us on which country’s coat of arms do zebras appear?
