Poet's Corner

in a pocket in the room in the moon

in this midnight

love conjures impossible words:

forever always and never/

on pieces of the sky it is written

scratched on sand by sunset lovers

(impossible words between ocean and rock),

written in the sweat of love

in the whisper of dreams

in stillness and storm-blast/

carved in stone, in silver and gold,

spoken in softest tones

at first light and the dawn of night –

impossible words:

forever always and never –

to love and be loved

that is all
