What’s trending: Put your dresses out for Stephanie

WOMEN around Australia paid tribute to killed Leeton schoolteacher Stephanie Scott last week by hanging their wedding dresses out and sharing the photos on Twitter.

Thousands of former brides posted photos of their wedding dresses with the hashtag #putyourdressout in honour of Ms Scott, who was due to marry her childhood sweetheart, Aaron Leeson-Woolley, last Saturday.

One Twitter user wrote: "For Stephanie, who will never know the magic of putting on her dress to marry the one she loved best #putyourdressout".

Another said: "Today was the day Stephanie Scott was to be married, today we show our solidarity #putyourdressout #rememberstephanie".
