IT'S a question asked almost every night in almost every home.

Lenard's has this tasty Asian-inspired recipe to feed the family.

Lime and peanut chicken


 5 Lenard's thigh fillets cut into strips

 ¾ cup unsalted peanuts

 ginger grated

 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

 2 tablespoons oil

 4 green onions sliced

 3 tablespoons fish sauce

 Juice and zest of two limes

 Chillies, deseeded and sliced (optional)

 2 teaspoons sugar

 1 bunch coriander, chopped

 ½ cup basil leaves



Use a food processor to grind the peanuts, ginger and garlic into coarse crumbs.

Cook on a barbecue hot plate in hot oil until fragrant.

Add the chicken and cook until golden.

Add onions, fish sauce, juice and zest of limes and chilli.

Taste and add sugar as necessary.

Spoon into serving dish and stir through coriander and basil leaves. Serves four.
