WAGs outshine partners on red carpet at Allan Border Medal

THE WAGs (wives and girlfriends) of our cricketing greats, past and present, went all out for their big night on the red carpet at the Allan Border Medal on Monday.

While Liz Hurley and Shane Warne were 'no shows', the new queen of the WAGs, Kyly Clarke, did her best Rebecca Judd impersonation to claim the crown in her J'Aton couture gown.

Generally it was nice to see more stylish, well-fitted frocks than the usual flesh fest associated with sports award nights.

Hopefully this is a sign of what's to come... hello Brownlow and Dally M.

Incidentally Michael Clarke took out his fourth AB Medal in case you were wondering.
