Volunteers help garden flourish

The first workday at the Lismore Community Garden was held last Saturday, with over 30 people coming along to volunteer their skills, ideas and time.

A mandala garden and edge plantings are well underway and there is another workday this Saturday, December 12, to keep things moving along.

“It is just fantastic to work together with so many inspired people and see so much getting done so quickly,” volunteer Peter Luckett said.

The Lismore Community Garden is at 50 Brewster St and the workday will begin at 8am. People with utes or trailers are wanted to pick up rocks from the Clunes area, and volunteers are also needed to build paths, plant garden beds and make a compost bay.
