Uke guru here to help

Direct from the USA comes ukulele guru Jumpin’ Jim Beloff (pictured with his wife Liz). Between club dates in Sydney and Melbourne, Jim is in Bangalow putting on a workshop and performance with his wife Liz (playing uke that is…) at the Bangalow Catholic Hall in Deakin St next Thursday, November 19, at 7pm. (Doors open at 6.30pm.)

The workshop is for beginner and intermediate level aficionados of this great instrument.

Jim is the author of Ukelele – A Visual History and is the author and compiler of the popular Jumpin’ Jim’s series of ukelele songbooks.

He’s also recorded two CDs of original songs and produced a uke compilation recording.

Jim knows his ukes. And he’s here to help you get to know yours.

$20 gets you in.

Tickets are available from Planet Music in Lismore and Ballina. Or at the door at the gig/workshop.
