Two men arrested and refused bail in relation to murder case

TWO men have been arrested by homicide detectives investigating two of New South Wales' most high profile murders and the mystery disappearance of a man in 2011.

Darko Janceski, 32, was gunned down execution-style in the front yard of his Central Coast home on April 14 last year.

His father saw a man on a trail bike fire the shots, but when he tried to step in he was assaulted.

Detectives from Strike Force Calligan arrested two men, aged 24 and 38, on Tuesday morning.

The younger man was charged with murder while the other was charged with solicit to murder.

Both men have since been refused bail.

Strike Force Calligan is also investigating the fatal shooting of Saso Ristevski, 37 at his parent's home at Lakeview Heights in September, 2011 and the disappearance of Goran Nikolovski, 35, who was last seen driving from his Unanderra home in October, the same year.

Drugs are believed to be at the centre of all three investigations.

Anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
