Transitting to the art world

Final year visual arts students from SCU will hold their annual graduate art show, Transit 09, from Friday, October 9.

This year it features the artworks of 50 emerging artists and is a chance to view and purchase work early in the careers of these promising artists, some of whom are already well on their way to Bohemian wealth and fame with recent sales to public and private collections.

Transit 09 is free and open to the public on Friday, October 9, from 5-8pm, in the visual arts block (V- block) at the Lismore campus. The exhibition will then be open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm, with extended hours on Thursdays until 8pm. It continues till Saturday, October 24.
