Tintenbar garden on display

A reminder to readers that Bob and Coleen Anderson are inviting people to their garden this weekend as part of Australia’s Open Garden Scheme.

The couple have been working on the garden for the last six years, using lots of contrasting foliage and selective range of colours to create a tranquil, peaceful setting.

The garden is open this Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29, and there will be morning or afternoon tea available and plants for sale.

Charities to benefit from the open garden are the Inner Wheel Club of Alstonville, which raises funds for cord blood research, and Heartfelt House in Wollongbar, which provides support for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Bob and Coleen Anderson’s garden is at 152 Foresters Way, Tintenbar (near Alstonville) and is open both days from 10am to 4.30pm. Entry is $6 for adults and children are free.
