There's a mayor in there

IT only comes around once every four years, but this Saturday is the day you get to have a say as to who you would like to be representing you on council. There are five candidates in the running to get the mayor's chair and about 60 people vying for the other 10 positions on council.

(For an overview about who's who and what they stand for, see pages 24-26.)

Residents of Lismore will also be asked to respond 'yes' or 'no' to the question 'Do you support coal seam gas (CSG) exploration and production in the Lismore City Council area?'

Polling places are open from 8am to 6pm.
