The Skunk is back!

Skunkhour – an Aussie band that ruled the 90s – is back (with the original line-up, nearly) and rocking the Great Northern Hotel in Byron this Sunday, December 6.

This band fuses soul, funk, hip hop and jazz with an unashamed love of Oz rock. While there were other groups in the 90s scene, Skunkhour were relentless in their pursuit of their own brand of Australian groove music. They didn’t want to be seen as imitators, but as originators.

Their legendary sounds spanned over a decade, producing five albums and rocking out at countless gigs and festivals.

Skunkhour is back and ready to groove from 9pm.

Entry is $36.50 from the venue ( www.thenorthern.com.au) and at the door.
