The Rock Show is coming

Australian rock icon Jon English will rock into Lismore on Friday and Saturday, December 4 and 5, to add his rocker’s voice and music experience to the Rock Show at the Star Court Theatre.

Jon will join a troupe of young, multi-talented multi-instsrumentalists who’ll take punters on a rockin’ journey through the 60s and 70s to rediscover the music that shaped a generation.

With a set design that invites you to party in a 60s living room (hope they have a lava lamp...), the Rock Show features the music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zepplin, Queen, The Kinks, Cream, Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Janis Joplin, Elton John, Billy Thorpe, AC/DC... plus many more. And of course that man with the dark-ringed eyes, Jon English.

The cast of the rock tribute range in age from 17 to 60, all of whom sing and/or play multiple instruments.

The show’s music director, Isaac Hayward, is just 18 years old and already a veteran. (Not a real veteran like Jon, of course, but a sort of... young veteran.)

So, for some live rock action check out the Rock Show. Tickets are $43/38/28 from Norpa on 1300 066 772 or at www.norpa.org.au.

Rock on!
