The Re-mains return to the hills

Returning to the lush rainbow hills where they played one of their first ever gigs eight years ago, The Re-mains play the Nimbin Hotel this Friday, January 8. Since that fateful first gig, suicidal cows, oppressive Liberal governments and declining music venues have all had a turn at silencing the country rock‘n’rollers, but, like the pioneers of old, The Re-mains’ never-say-die attitude has kept them touring across the land and even beyond our shores. Joining them as special guest star in the rhythm section will be Darren ‘Sideshow’ Bridge on bass and Brendan ‘Buckets’ Drinkwater hitting the tubs. The show starts at 7.30pm, so be there early for all the banjo-rockin’ folk-singing frivolities.
