The passion and the flamenco glory

The Saruzu Quartet ( pictured) is a fiery flamenco-tango-jazz ensemble. They're an Australian outfit but their soul is gypsy. With the rich harmonies of Argentine tango, the wild improvisations of gypsy jazz and the fire and grace of flamenco, The Saruzu Quartet will perform at the Mullum Civic Centre this Friday, October 2.

The Saruzu Quartet is a celebration of the musical passions of its members - sensual flamenco dancer and fiery percussionist Simone Pope, ferociously cool jazz bass player Andrew Shaw, laidback guitar virtuoso Andrew Veivers and violinist Luke Moller.

Tickets are $20 from Mullum Books or from www.kupromotions.oztix.com.au . Or $25 at the door.

The passion starts at 7pm.
