The passenger's stone

Aussie girl Elana Stone and UK band Passenger's frontman Mike Rosenberg will do their respective (and respected) things acoustically when the pair plays the Star Court Theatre in Lismore on Friday, November 6, with doors opening at 7pm.

Both are known for their dynamic, full-band live shows, so this gig will let punters see a different side of the artists.

Elana Stone released her album Your Anniversary in August this year and it has been getting some decent airplay - especially for the two singles Slippery Slidey and New Life. Elana will be joined on stage for her set by Brian Campeau, who recently did a top gig at the Lismore City Bowlo.

Mike Rosenberg is also performing. Hailing from the UK, Passenger was born when uni drop-out turned troubadour Rosenberg bumped into Bafta award-winning film and TV soundtrack composer Andrew Phillips.

Some lengthy sessions in Phillips' loft studio resulted in a meeting of minds neither had expected.

In February this year, Passenger released Wicked Man's Rest and Mike has spent much of this year on tour playing venues throughout Australia.

Jess Chalker will be a special guest on this special night.

Entry is $18.
