School's Out is the current exhibition at Platypus Gallery in Centre Street, Casino.

HSC students from Evans River K-12 and Casino High School have left their final artistic mark from their high school years at the gallery. The exhibition explores current issues that loom large in the minds of the young, from the hunting of Japanese dolphins to the interpretation of Elisabeth Kuber-Ross's theory on grief.

School's Out finishes next Tuesday, January 31, so this is your final opportunity to see the world through the eyes of Richmond Valley's youth.

Rosanna has designs on female taboo

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
