The sun has set on Port Macquarie’s Festival of the Sun.

The perfect summer days managed to keep festival-goers warm and dry all weekend long.

Needless to say organisers, punters and bands were in high spirits. The festival sold out on Friday, just before the entertainment began.

The line-up this year was successful mix of all styles of music, keeping everyone on their feet, dancing up a storm on the sand.

And the performers enjoyed themselves too.

Front man for the Red Riders, Alex Grigg, who played on the Friday night, sang the festival’s praises.

“The relaxed atmosphere and great location of Festival of the Sun made for a cruisey vibe that is hard to find at other music festivals.”

Now... Bring on Woodford!
