Thanks Dad photo competition winner

The judging of the 2009 Thanks Dad National Photo Competition is now complete and Lismore resident Janelle Peachey has been announced as the winner of the 'Photo taken with a Mobile Phone' section. The competition, which celebrates the wonderful things men do with their children, recieved a record number of entries (over 1,000) this year. Every year the pictures travel as part of the Thanks Dad People's Choice exhibition across the whole of Australia (from Tasmania to Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria and NSW) and are exhibited in libraries, shopping centres, schools and at conferences.

The exhibition of competition photos is expected to give many people incredible enjoyment from looking at the pictures and hopefully encourage all men to spend more positive, quality time with their children!

Winning photos can be viewed on the website www.thanksdadphotos.org.au and people are encouraged to download their entry forms and start taking pictures for the 2010 competition.
