Teen boy charged over school fight involving a knife
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged after an alleged assault at a Rockhampton school on Wednesday, in yet another teen-violence incident.
Detectives from Rockhampton Child Protection and Investigation Unit charged the 14-year-old following an incident in North Rockhampton.
Police were called to a school at 8.30am on Wednesday in relation to a disturbance.

It has been alleged the 14-year-old boy assaulted a 12-year-old boy. It also has been alleged that the 14-year-old was in possession of a knife.
The boy has been charged with one count each of assault and possessing a knife in a public place, and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
The charges come after video footage of an attack on a 14-year-old girl went viral this week, and another video emerged of two boys fighting.
A 13-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl were charged on Thursday with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm in relation to the viral video filmed in an underpass near Yaamba Rd.
