Around 11.40pm, as the taxi drove through Woodridge in Brisbane, a male passenger threatened the driver with a knife and demanded he stop the taxi and hand over all his money.

The 26-year-old male drive handed over a sum of cash.

The male passenger fled on foot and was last seen running through Willow Park.

The driver was not physically injured and police investigations are continuing.

The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance with a heavy build and approximately 178cm tall.
