Police investigating death of man, 58, at Brooms Head


POLICE are calling for public help to discover how a man received serious injuries at Brooms Head which led to his death in hospital today.

Emergency services were called to Wallaby Lane, Brooms Head at 11pm on Tuesday, where they found a 58-year-old man with extensive injuries. He was taken to Lismore Hospital where he died.

Investigators from Coffs Harbour Local Area Command are investigating the cause of the man's death and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.


A MAN in his 50s was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a critical condition after he was found lying on the road at Taloumbi last night.

Ambulance paramedics responding to a triple zero call at 8pm last night found the man lying in Wallaby Lane.

NSW Ambulance reports the man had a head wound and fractured ribs and shortly after went into cardiac arrest.

There has been no information about what caused the man's injuries.
