Sydney woman missing for week found safe

NSW Police

A SYDNEY woman missing for almost a week has been found by police.

Belinda Burcham was being treated at St Vincent's Hospital in Darlinghurst last weekend, but early on Sunday morning the 40-year-old left without medical clearance and disappeared.

She failed to get in touch with her concerned parents or two children.

Police last week said they had been canvassing other hospitals and rehabilitation centres, examining CCTV footage and checking bank and phone records without luck.

Last night, police from Kings Cross found Ms Burcham in Paddington.
