Sydney shooter fronts court on murder charge

A MAN who sparked a police search following a fatal shooting in Sydney last weekend has fronted court charged with murder.

Joshua George, 24, was shot in the chest in broad daylight at Claymore on Sunday.

Police released images of his former friend, 21-year-old Graeme Smith, who Joshua was believed to have been arguing with at a party the night before.

Mr Smith was recognised by an officer at a Sydney train station late Thursday and was arrested.

He appeared in the Blacktown court on Friday and was refused bail.
