Swapping skin for canvas

Clare Reid, Milly Loveknuckles and Tom Burrey will exhibit their artworks at the Rock of Ages tattoo studio in Lennox Head opening this Saturday, December 12, from 5pm.

All three exhibitors are tattoo artists as well as working in traditional paint media on canvas and board.

Milly Loveknuckles (love the name) is the owner of Rock of Ages tattoo studio.

Tom Burrey specialises in traditional tattooing and his painting reflects this by using watercolour with a strong outline and muted palette.

Claire Reid is a tattoo artist originally from the UK but has been on the road for three years, tattooing and painting all over the world.

The opening will feature three bands and a light show.

The exhibition runs till January 12.
