Sustainable food future

The Northern Rivers Food Links Project is offering funding of $50,000 to secure a more sustainable local food future for local communities.

The Project is a council cooperation initiative of the seven Northern Rivers councils and Rous Water who have established a collaborative partnership to work together to secure a sustainable food future for the region.

Information workshops are being provided to assist potential applicants with understanding the application process. There will also be the opportunity to discuss your projects with the Food Links Project Team and ask questions.

If you would like to attend one of the workshops, they will be held next week in the following locations: Monday 10 May at the Kyogle Community Centre in Kyogle, from 2pm–4pm; Tuesday 11 May in Byron Shire Council Administration Centre in Mullumbimby, from 10am–2pm; Wednesday 12 May in the Gordon Pavilion at Oaks Oval in Lismore, from 2pm–4pm.
