Social media to the rescue for 93-year-old bride

A 93-YEAR-OLD woman has decided to tie the knot again and she needs your help!

Canberra-based woman Sylvia dropped by fashion retailer Birdsnest after she finally said "yes" to husband-to-be Frank.

But there's only one problem - the blushing bride can't decide between four dresses.

Which dress should Sylvia choose for her wedding?

This poll ended on 31 December 2017.

Current Results

Dress A

52%

Dress B

9%

Dress C

24%

Dress D

13%

This is not a scientific poll. The results reflect only the opinions of those who chose to participate.

Do not fear Sylvia! Social media has come to the rescue with Birdsnest putting out the call on Facebook for people to help you choose which dress to pick.

The social campaign will be the last step in what has been a love story that has already overcome its share of hurdles.

Sylvia and Frank, who live in a retirement village together, met nearly 20 years ago but Frank's numerous proposals always fell on deaf ears with Sylvia believing that taking a new name would be disrespectful to her first husband.

However, after she took ill a year ago, Sylvia convinced Frank, who was living in Adelaide at the time, to join her in the nation's capital.

And when Frank again asked for her hand in marriage, this time, Sylvia, who had learnt that she could keep her surname, accepted his proposal.

Now we just wait to see which dress she will wear down the aisle.
