Sneaky funk Weasels into Nimbin

Groove monsters Sneaky Weasel Gang (pictured) won the 2009 WAMI (West Australian Music Industry) award for Best Funk Act in Western Australia. The raucous trio combines a mix of '60s-type garage blues and dirty funk - all heavily based around a big groove and flash guitar work.

These lads are influenced by instrumental groups like Booker T & the MGs and The Meters.

With their new release Bodyslide Blues getting airplay, this young band has hit the road and will roll into Nimbin on Friday, November 6, for a gig at the pub that starts at 7.30pm.

Should be a most excellent gig.
