Smash ‘n’ grab at Grafton hotel

POLICE will forensically examine an axe used to break into a Grafton hotel.

Alcohol and cigarettes were stolen from the Albion Hotel, on the corner of Queen and Arthur Sts, about 1.30am Easter Monday morning.

An axe which, was used to smash a rear window, was left at the scene and will be examined along with the premises.
