Sing for me baby

BABY et Lulu is the musical partnership between Abby Dobson, songstress extraordinaire for the platinum selling Leonardo's Bride, and Lara Goodridge, violinist/singer with the celebrated string quartet FourPlay.

Australia's first and certainly most vivacious French-language chanteuse duo has recorded and is touring a self-titled debut album.

An eclectic mix of classics and contemporary numbers written by some of the 20th century's greatest French songwriters, it ranges from a Cole Porter jazz standard to tracks by cultural icons Edith Piaf, Brigitte Bardot and Francoise Hardy .

The pair is joined by an all-star band of Sydney's finest musicians at the Byron Community Centre Theatre, this Saturday, February 23.

Tickets are $43, available from byroncentre.com.au or phone 6685 6807.

The show starts at 8pm.
