LAWYERS for former basketball star Shane Heal are arguing he has done nothing wrong in his criminal hearing involving NBA coach Brett Brown.

Heal is appearing today in Brisbane's Magistrates Court, charged with three counts of fraud worth $750,000.

The committal hearing relates to money that Mr Brown, coach of the Philadelphia 76ers and a former friend, had lent for Heal's ventures.

The case of the prosecution, led by Deborah Holliday, pointed to one incident of Mr Brown lending Heal $250,000 for a coffee shop venture.
