Schools benefit from the council’s scheme

LISMORE City Council is offering schools in the council area free recycling collection when their New Materials Recovery Facility opens.

Each Urban Lismore school will be allowed 1100 litres of bin capacity each week for mixed recyclables which will be collected once a week.

Schools in the rural areas will be allowed six 360-litre bins. This new service will commence at the start of 2014. Contact the waste facility on 1300 878 387.
