Scene reminder

After big shows at Whian Whian and Byron last week, local band Red Belly Black will launch their album Smile On Your Face to the Lismore audience when they play the Lismore Bowling Club this Saturday, March 27. With singer Andy Parks’ emotive voice underscoring the superb arrangements of his songs, the album, like the band live, combines elements of blues, rock and folk (sometimes they even get funky) into songs about life, love and the Dunoon tornado. With top local musos and a local sentiment, Red Belly Black packs a backbeat-driven bite. Snug and Damien O’Dwyer will support. The fun starts at 8pm. $10/8 gets you in.
