Saritah celebrates life

Uplifting songstress Saritah brings her positive affirmations to Coorabell Hall this Friday, January 8. Saritah’s shows have been described as a colourful celebration of life that make you want to move your feet and dance – which seems perfect for a warm summer night in the lush hills of Coorabell. Touring and playing alongside her will be fellow songwriter Grace Barbe as well as a diverse collective of musicians who each contribute their unique flavour in bringing her songs to life.

After the release of her album Ancient Forward last year, Saritah has received a lot of attention in Australia and overseas. The Korean-born performer has toured through Asia and Australia, and ended last year by opening the New Year’s celebrations on the main stage at Peats Ridge in 2009.

Saritah’s performance may just leave you with a smile on your face. Saritah’s versatile voice can deliver soulful melodies and upbeat reggae numbers. She’s a songwriter with something to say and a positive vision for the future.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets cost $10 at the door. For more information about Saritah, visit the website www.saritah.com or www.myspace.com/saritahmusic.
