Samba-Blissta training

Those joyous, roving, dressed-up beaters of drums, the Samba-Blisstas, are offering a six-week training course for those who wish to join in the serious musical fun of the Samba-Blisstas.

Classes have sprung up in Lismore on Monday nights, Bangalow on Tuesdays, Kingscliff on Wednesdays and from March 4 a training course will start in Ballina on Thursday nights.

Most of the membership of the Samba Blisstas are people from the community who have committed to one course then followed through with regular training to learn the ongoing routines created by Samba-Blissta leader Paul Barrett.

So if you have seen the fun and the spectacle that is the Samba-Blisstas at one of the many events in the region where they perform and you think, “I wanna do that!” then the Ballina course could be for you.

Beginners through to advanced are catered for, and the course is suitable for ages 18 to 80. All equipment is supplied.

The course runs from 7-8.30pm. Cost is $180.

To book and for more info phone Paul on 6680 4946 or email info@carnavaldrumming.com. Or you can visit the website to book online at www.carnavldrumming.com.
