Sam Ibrahim accused of threatening businessman

THE high-ranking Nomad bikie arrested over alleged death threats which caused a prominent Sydney businessman to flee the country this week, has been named as the brother of iconic Kings Cross club owner John Ibrahim.

Sam Ibrahim is accused of threatening the man, his family and staff over the phone after a business deal soured.

He was arrested earlier this week at the Castle Hill police station where he is required to report regularly and charged with six counts of using a carriage service to threaten to kill and three counts of using a carriage service to threaten serious harm.

He has since been released on conditional bail.
