Rous's plans for water security

Rous Water is holding two public meetings to inform people about their Future Water Strategy, which will guide its long term water resource planning.

Both meetings will be held at the Lismore Workers Club on Tuesday 29 from 6 to 8.30pm and Wednesday, September 30, from 9.30am to 12. Both meetings will have the same agenda and presenters.

The Future Water Strategy will consider the capacity of existing sources to meet future demand as well as considering alternative sources such as the Dunoon dam proposal and water saving measures. They are also developing a Project Reference Group (PRG) for members of the community to have input into the development of the strategy.
