Robin Hood and being robbed

It was like a scene from the Robin Hood TV series at Doubtful Creek near Kyogle last week.

The Sheriff of Nottingham (Metgasco) had his army out in force (40 riot police). We, the hapless, victimised people of Loxley (Kyogle and surrounds) stood by in horror as the tanks rolled in. One wrong move and we'd be arrested, made criminal. Defenceless, we watched a rumbling convoy of semi-trailers laden with heavy machinery barge into Eden Creek state forest to dredge the bounty from beneath our Kyogle earth - people's homes and properties.

Sheriff Metgasco would share his gold with fellow conspirators, a corrupt NSW State Government, before shipping off the spoils to the Holy Land: China. Will Robin Hood save the day? Can we, the outlawed people of the Northern Rivers, stand together to oust this bully?
