Rising wall of water

It seems we love a flood. This photo was taken at sunset in Keen Street looking towards Girards Hill and sent in by Tony Martin.

"I have lived in Lismore all my life and floods do not bother me anymore. As a teenager living in Phyllis Street, I have been awoken by a policeman at 1am telling us to get out. He was being chased by a small wall of water. Within an hour the lino floor had risen one metre, perfectly level, as if the floor had been lifted. Amazing."
