IS your house looking a bit tired and shabby? Want to make your narky step-aunt jealous? Trying to keep up with the Joneses but don't have the money to complete an expensive reno?

Google has announced the launch of a new feature on its official Australian blog today which just might help you out.

Simple Complete House Makeover Internet Conversion Kit - or SCHMICK for short - lets you give your house a lick of paint or mow the nature strip for free on Google Street View.

Want to know more about this cheeky new feature? Head to the Official Google Australia Blog

While you're at it, don't forget to try out another of Google's great new features launched today - Google Nose.

Ever wished you could get a whiff of a wet dog through your computer? Dream no longer. Though only in its Beta stage, Google claims Nose already has 15M+ scentibytes.

Unsure of what to expect? Don't worry. For when you're wary of your query - SafeSearch is included.

Find out more about Google Nose on the official page.

And last but not least, make sure you check out Google's new Treasure Maps!

Google warns Treasure Maps is their Beta Maps technology and has certain system requirements. For example, your system may not be able to display at higher resolutions than paper print. Take care when unfolding the map to avoid ripping it.

Check it out in the map below. And don't forget to be sharing any loot you may find!

Google has, of course, acknowledged that the above features were all for April Fool's Day.
