Renee and her uke

The Mullum Folk Club will feature Renee Searles (pictured) next Wednesday, November 28.

Bringing to the stage a touch of glamour and mystique from a bygone era, Renee’s distinctive approach to the ukulele brings a sensitivity to her songs of love, longing and desire. It’s a charming mix of ragtime jazz, old world blues and lilting poetry.

Renee will be accompanied by Oles Krolikowski (Fatter Than Nusrat) with his guitar skills adding to the intriguing and melodic sound.

Chalkboard spots will be up for grabs from 7pm.

Show starts at 7.30pm.

$5 gets you in.
