Record-breaking coach praised by Blues midfielder

CARLTON is set to regain dual Brownlow medallist Chris Judd from a hamstring injury for Friday night's clash against Collingwood, a match that will see Blues coach Mick Malthouse set a new record of 715 games in charge in the AFL/VFL.

Malthouse, off contract at the end of the season, has been under pressure after Carlton's poor start to the season, but star midfielder Bryce Gibbs had nothing but praise for the 61-year-old mentor.

"He's just a really good people person. He's come into the club and he builds such strong relationships with the players and with the people around the club," Gibbs told reporters.

"It's amazing, he definitely gets the best out of you, the best out of his players, the best out of the coaches, the best out of people around him as a whole."

Troy Menzel also looks likely to play for the Blues after he missed the past two games with a calf complaint.

Artist Rosanna Pimm uses 3500 porcelain tampons to created her large scale performance installation Riots of Passage in The Quad as part of The Lismore Women's Festival on International Women's Day. Laying down and de-constructing the mandala structure symbolises the impermanence of the menstrual cycle and an end to female inequality in the world.
