Rebels attacked in clubhouse

TWO Rebels bikies are fighting for their lives and another is recovering from a gun shot wound after armed men stormed their clubhouse in Sydney's south on the weekend.

Wearing balaclavas and armed with baseball bats and at least one gun, a group of men forced their way into the clubhouse at Huskisson and attacked members inside late Saturday night.

Shots were fired at the group before the intruders fled.

Three victims were rushed to the Shoalhaven Hospital in a critical condition.Two men, aged 39 and 37 suffered such serious injuries, police originally thought they had been shot in the head but doctors determined they had been brutally bashed.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and underwent surgery on Sunday.

A fourth man, aged 43, was also treated for head and back injuries.

Police are guarding the clubhouse.
