SPECULATION over player movement went into overdrive yesterday, with rumours rising Raiders talent Anthony Milford would be making a switch the Queensland Reds growing stronger.
Milford is believed to be in a dispute with Canberra, after telling the club he wanted to return to Brisbane to be closer to his family, in particular his father Halo, who is ill.
But the Raiders are prepared to fight to keep the 19-year-old, which could result in the gifted utility back sitting out next season, opening the door for the Reds to sign him for a year.
Eels fullback Jarryd Hayne is always reportedly close to walking out and joining the Bulldogs, and Parramatta officials always play it down.
But, despite him being contracted for another two years, the chances of star Blues representative actually leaving are high this year, with the Bulldogs desperate to fill the void at No.1 left by Brisbane-bound Ben Barba.
Meanwhile, Newcastle is confident star five-eighth Jarrod Mullen will re-sign on a long-term deal at the end of the finals series.
